My logo doesn't match my new blog design so I'm holding a logo and favicon design contest. I'm looking for an original logo and favicon that matches this blog design: http://i43.tinypic.com/14t1q4g.png The only required text is "Daily Conversions" The color scheme and design is totally up to you. It could be just text or it could be a theme image with text next to it like I have now, OR something else totally unique. I'm looking for total creativity with this, as long as it matches the design. I want the logo to really stand out! Let's see how creative you guys are! Post your designs here. Feel free to use a watermark. The winner will be paid $35 via PayPal.
5th I think this is the best out of my trys!!! Here it is with text gradient that matches your style i can switch any colors or anything you want on either of my entries I think this would be a great logo/favicon!
stellah57 - I don't really like the theme of the dollar signs in the circle. And although red stands out I think it's a bad contrast with blue. onlyfights - I really like this one. Can you try the green from the widget bar in the preview as opposed to gray. Oh, and you forgot the S on Conversions. aTo - I don't like the font style. Also, I'm not sure about the circle it's a little plain, maybe some kind of badge instead like jonathanvolk.com. Galactek Designs - I don't like the use of $ signs or dollar bills, I think it's a bit too tacky for the more "clean" theme. Maybe you could do a strong green font using that cartoo kind of style in the logo. jaghanivasan - I really like this one too. I think it is confusing to have a D in front of Daily like that with no "badge" type thing behind it. I'd say that if you're going to go that route to do something more like http://www.jonathanvolk.com/ and use DC as a badge and keep the font the same on Daily Conversions. Oh and you forgot the S on Conversions. j0opre - I want to stay away from using $'s or dollar bills. I think it's too much for the otherwise subtle theme. You can use the green color to make it stand out but I think it's too pushy to use dollar signs etc.
here's my entry My web 2.0 logo design is suited for impact and easy recognition. I think blue is a very striking color and when made into a logo or favicon, it easily catches the eye (like the favicon of johnchow.com) You can see my design in action here: I'm open to any modification/suggestion. Feedback appreciated. Thanks!
As the blog's designer i feel that i can also comment on the logos: All concepts lack creativity and in no way match current web trends get your act together and create something unique and outstanding. Period.
