    @vicky786: Kind of funny with the silly two houses forming an odd pair! :) This won't win though. But I appreciate your effort.

    @Spikesolo: These are technically good, but I don't see much new ideas in them compared to what's already been presented by others. Also, and probably I haven't been clear about this, but we don't have that kind of skyline in any city in Finland, so a "Chicago skyline" would look a bit silly in the logo. Here's a picture from East Helsinki (the company is based in Helsinki) that gives an idea of what kind of buildings we have here:

    http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/3/3a/Aurinkolahden_uimaranta.jpg

    The buildings in the picture are closest in resemblance to the ones this company will be managing. So usually something like max 5-6 stories high, long buildings, not very tall ones, with balconies.

    Thanks Spike for your entry! I do see talent in you, but this wasn't quite what I was looking for.

    @Everyone:
    Make sure the text in your logos is big enough to be easily readable. Eg. in Spikesolo's entry the logo text could be bigger and the tagline is definitely too small.

    Sorry about the comic sans watermark. I've always wanted to use it. :p
    I tried another approach since you wanted a more complex design rather than a simple "clip-arty" logo. This is also why I choose to design a new brand identity. Hope you like it, thanks.

    @Vicky786: Thanks for the update, but this lacks creativity. The buildings are highrises which we don't have here.

    @Frikusha: Not bad. The font could be "cleaner"? I like the look of the buildings. Not sure if this is a winner, though. Do you have a proposal for a business card?

    @Trak: I regret using the word clip-arty, which your earlier proposition wasn't. I liked it in a way, but something was missing, and that something is the wizardry part, I think. It's just that this could be the logo of pretty much any business. It doesn't say to me in which business this company operates or how. Wish I could like more! Also, the font could be more appealing instead of straight Times. I still like your first proposition more than this second one. The first had a really good business card, just the logo & font needed something extra.

    I will add a $15 prize to whoever takes 2nd place in this competition.

    Thanks for all the new propositions. This will be a tough choice at the end. There's still some time left in the race, and I'll reserve up to the end of week to make up my mind. Winner & 2nd place will be announced by Monday at the latest.

    @frikusha: I'd like to see your logo without the arc, so the stars and buildings would stay, just no arc. Of the proposed fonts the one in the middle is good.

    @trak: This color scheme is good and I like the way the BC is arranged. However, I have problems with the logo, just not happy with it. Sorry about that! This latest version isn't better, the idea is somehow lost.

    Sure, sorry. I noticed your work of course, just had a hard time formulating feedback! I think your work is of good quality, but I feel like the ideas you used were derivatives of ideas already posted by other people. It does have merits, though. I like the bottom one more. The text and logo are stylish, but what I said before about the properties this business will manage (see my post #24!), this logo gives a bit of a wrong impression. Your proposal is by no means bad, actually it's quite good, but because you kind of loaned the ideas and color scheme from others and because the theme is a bit off, I have a hard time evaluating this. I will give you props as obviously being a capable designer and your proposition is in the top 5 here for sure.

    Also @Aninman: a solid first proposition, some people who I showed this liked it, but I personally just am a bit unsure if it's interesting enough. I just have a problem with putting a traditional rooftop in the logo, however the it's situated here is well thought out and somewhat out of ordinary.

    I cant keep this perspective of buildings with nothing "around" (dont know how better say this) so i put arch at the bottom of buildings:

    Hi, I did take this into account but the logo didn't satisfy. Business card was better, but it's not a winner.
