Contest $35 Contest for Header

Hi,

I am looking for a header for my upcoming site: raisethem.com

The site is about parenting, breastfeeding, and related topics. I need a soft image, with photos depicting the love of parents and the feeling of family. Pink and blue elements will go well. Cute babies / children will go well too. I want the name: RaiseThem.com to be part of the header. Header size: 940 x 100

UPDATE: I can see that every one is suffering from the 100 pixel height. If you like, I can adapt a bit here. Go up to 140 pixels if needed.

 

@debayanmitra : Of the 4 images that you have tried to collage, only the left most one makes sense to me. The squished baby face looks, well, squished. The two headless parents are no good. The right most image is too much of a close-up to even realize that is going on.

@manhst : The site name is unreadable. And I only like the right-most image.


Also (and this is to every one): If you use more than one image, there should be a blending of images and not abrupt change. Also, read UPDATE, above.

 

If designers could write RaiseThem.com in a log-like or symbol-like style, I would enjoy that.

@manhst: the cleaner design looks better. Refinement is required in terms of the rectangle around the name. Also, I am not too thrilled about the fonts.

@vaibhavmeswani: I think that the color scheme is really good, but the image is really busy. Also, the "Them" needs to me a little more prominent to avoid the site looking like raise.com!

@ZinniDoll and darike and Didrapost: I do not get the feeling that this is a professional logo.

@kazimn: interesting and good attempt. Suggestions: The font looks jarring. Some more work on that please. And you could consider other background options too.

@-Cash-: I like this too, but it seems incomplete. I think that the site name should move to the left and more elements (or stronger background) should be added in the center. Also, not slicing off the kid's head is desirable.
