This is the worth thing ever... I have for the first time reached 150$ in my paypal account... Now when i ask for withdrawal it says that the address should be under 35 characters.. Now here in india getting my address under 35 character almost not possible... can any indian member help me.. i mean many indian members here must have made a withdrawal... how did you manage to keep it under 35... thanks
You should entre you house no., your area and Pin code number correct along with your city/state name. That's it. Aviod space and comma between them.
If it still fails, why don't you just exchange $150 PayPal for INR (bank fund transfer, say Citibank or ICICI) with a fellow DPer?
So long as you have the pincode and country name, I don't think you need to specify the state and city. Ofcourse, confirm it first
Well thanks all for replying... i made a withdrawal request.. the status now is "Check Issued" (20th Feb. 2007)... so now waiting for the cheque ... Anyways, is there anyone here from India (specially Mumbai) who has made a withdrawal using paypal... how many days it took for your cheque to reach your place?
Pratik, do a search around the forums. There have been many people who have asked that question. It depends on the postal services in your area, and it could take anywhere between 2-5 weeks
thanks all for helping me in every way possible... I have made a request for withdrawal on 20th of Feb. 2007. And i had received the status saying "Check Issued" on the same day itself. Its been around 2 weeks and I don't have any sign for receiving the post. I even inquired at my local post office, but they haven't received any such post. The thing which is bothering me is that i have not mentioned my state name because of the size restriction, but i have mentioned the following details in short cuts... Building Name, Street Name, District and Pincode. And as Rohit Patel said the country is given automatically by Paypal. What happens if i don't receive my post within 3 weeks? Can i contact paypal for a refund? Is it possible? thanks in advance...
