This is another part to a contest I was originally planning to hold, which I had split up. The owner of the competition chose the winning logo, and I have attached the logo. The restaurant is a Thai restaurant, so the winning design should have an authentic Thai feel to it. The card design should be 90mm x 52mm with a 3 mm bleed and a minimum 300 dpi. I would prefer it to be in photoshop or illustrator or eps, whatever the designer considers the best tool for the job. The colours should be in keeping with the logo. The contest will be 48 hours, but could be extended if a suitable design is not chosen by then. Background colour is the choice of the designer, but the logo seems to look better on a black background. If you have any questions, please feel welcome to post them.
moneylizard - very nice work, my only thing about this would be that the lettering on the right side of the card seems a bit thin...maybe the font can be a touch wider, or bold? Its hard to give an opinion because things look a lot different on paper than in print, and it could be fine on print media. Maybe you can give me some feedback on what you think of it. Jackieh1791- its a nice clean design. I do believe that the card should have the whole address on it though, and maybe a fax icon instead of a mobile phone.
I am going to extend this contest one more day to give the people who were mentioning they were entering a chance to get their designs in...I believe there should be a few more as there have only been 3 entries so far. I like the work so far, but it will be up to the owner of the restaurant to make the choice.
Very nice work everyone...in a few more hours I will have the owner make a decision. I cannot give any more suggestions, as its all nice work and the decision is an arbitrary one. The winning design might be asked to make some small alterations at the wishes of the owner.
I do not have it in a high res jpg format. You can export it to another format from the original file, and everyone in here seems to be doing that without any problems.
This contest is now closed. The owner of the restaurant has chosen StealthGFX as the winning design. I will be arranging payment and any tweaks required with the winner. Thank you to everyone who put in an entry.
