$35.00 Logo Contest

Note: Web 2.0 is not transferable to black-n-white (Not with any quality anyways) due to all the color variations. I will put together a print friendly version if you like that will transpose clear in B&W if you like the above concept. (Let me know)

 

Hey, Hades. How are you?

I like your design/layout. It makes good use of the aesthetically pleasing "maroon & gray", a great combination that is often misused. 8)

Here is my audition:

Although it is not as simple as a strict 2-color logo, it should be simple enough so as to print nicely on business cards, letter heads, and etcetera.

The ".net" can be moved anywhere, or removed altogether (or modified). The color(s) can be changed, and just about any other modification you may care for is possible.

about the design: yeah, I definately think the red has to go. try making it blend it with the red N in the ndesigns part, right under it. So the n would be used for both parts. Im not sure how that will look, but might be cool.

You don't have to. This is what I meant. And I really like your new design. I like the red one most. .

 

Hehe, not at all, man. I wasn't trying to suck up for extra points, I just call it as I see it, and I really do like the Wordpress theme. (Although tbh, I'm not too big of a fan of Wordpress itself.)

I'm not sure I understand what you're asking for. Are you saying, instead of having the "n" a different color from the other letters, you prefer that the ndesignz text have perhaps a red-to-grey horizontal gradiant extending all the way across it from the "n" to the "z"?

 

I know you weren't, I was just messing with you . It was actually inspired by a site I saw. At least the colors were, and after which, it took a completely different stride .

I like wordpress cause it's pretty easy to manage, though I don't blog too much myself.

nah, what i meant was like try doing a spin off of the letter n, and maybe put a dot in front of it, and then have that one letter n used as part of ndesignz, and right below the letter n, there would be like, et, which would complete .net . I don't know, maybe it's a silly idea, but it sounded cool at the time.

Hmm. I guess it doesn't look as cool as I was hoping it would.
Oh well.

Im not too fond of the text being in capital letters, since like i mentioned before, my site is in lower case letters.

Also, the logo seems as though it's describing a shipping or a box company.

Sorry, but I don't really like the design. Nothing wrong with it, just not something im looking for.


And with this, I think I will end the contest. Right now I am having a dilemna between which ones i want to pick. My three choices are mitcharrs, scorpions and pitzas.

Sorry guys, because of new years and stuff, I haven't had much of a chance to decide. I will make a decision very soon. if you have anyone to blame for it taking so long, blame each other for making such great logos. lol jk. Anyway, I will make a decision very soon. (Probably after new years though. Im just making a post so you guys know i didn't disapper)
