I like the 1st one better. It is very close to what I want. However, the dotted top and bottom lines aren't working for me. Neither is the five bars next to the second tag line.
This one is better. However, I would remove the dash line next to the second tag line. Also, the logo is getting a little distortion. Looking at the "O" in Jones and the "O" in Blog. At the very bottom, it is starting to look at little ruff. My other suggestion is to work on some color contrast from the "SPUNKY" to "SEO BLOG". They are the same color and it should vary a bit to make the logo come alive.
I would stay with brown/golden colors that for "Spunky" and "SEO BLOG". I think that would work well together. You may want to experiment with a different style font for the letter "S" on Spunky. Just a suggestion.
This one is much better. I would work on the color for "SEO Blog". It doesn't work that well for me. You could try a more gold color or a darker color. Very close to being finished.
I would say that we are good to go on this logo. However, we'll have to wait until the 29th when the contest is over to determine the winner. You are still in the lead at this point. Zlatomir is in second place so far.

I like this one better. However, the arrow looks like another letter "S" to me. I would change the arrow style a bit. Make the tag line text a litter larger.

The Spunky Jones Logo Contest has Officially Ended. I would like to say thank you for all the designers that participated in my logo design contest. In this contest, there were two individuals that I felt stepped up to the plate and delivered what I was looking for. When I started this contest, I didn't give a whole lot of details about what I wanted for a logo. I did this purposely so I could get an idea of the designers creatively level. Since I am also looking for a designer to creative logos for my sponsored WordPress themes, this was very important to see what each designer could come up with on their own. There can only be one 1st place winner for the cash prize of $35.00 for this contest. With that said, "scorpionagency" came in 1st place. Spunky Jones..
