So British comedian Stephen Fry was the first person in the UK to switched from a .com to a .uk. was the story in all todays newspapers, thinking I needed a new domain name for a upcoming project and reading the story and finding information about 34sp.com being the cheapest place on the net to offer two year registration for £5, most other places are £7 per year with VAT, it looked like a good place to start, since it had a lot of coverage on Tuesdays over the internet. Big mistake the domain is still unregistered as of 00:24am June 12th, 8 hours after they took payment for the domain, what kind of service is that you may thinking, well its not a good one. Having had domains from places like godaddy and krystal both of are instant domain registration, 34sp.com seems to be some part-time monkeys manually registering domains when they feel like it, please don't use this place for imported domains because you may lose them!
Why would you use some no-name company like this anyways? Looking at them it seams like they're a small time web hosting company that probably uses a reseller account for domain registrations. This is a perfect example as to why you should always go straight to the ACCREDITED registrars when buying a new domains. Stick with Godaddy, Name.com, DynaDot, NameCheap..etc. and you won't run into these kinds of problems.
I have been using namecheap and godaddy for now to register my domains, at godaddy you can register domains for cheap if you look for coupons, here is a few ones: KIWI cjcrmn149s cjc149s1 GTNIMHK21 cjcrmn199 Cheers
