My neighbor who have a new adsense account is now earning around $350 after his news blog was accepted by Google news 4 months ago.... Adsense is huge is you have a website with thousands of daily uniques...
Funny how your "neighbor" uses adsense too, yea I think by now we all know Adsense is huge if you have a site with tons of traffic Captain Obvious.
I am not sure this guy can get such money form GA. No proof :-P. Is this a legend here when the content on this blog does not include high pay rate keywords?
i believe that some are making quite a lot if they get accepted to googles news program but most arent. google is getting much harder to get accepted as lots more people are trying the google news game. havent sunk my teeth into it and have no plans...to many things on my plate
Anything we don't know instead? The maths are simple. Take a low 1% CPM. for 1000 uniques/day you get 10 bucks. 1 million unique/day = $10,000/day Adsense is huge if you have a website with thousands of daily uniques...Oops...It's been said already....
Another spam blogger...How did he get into google news with short articles that are basically rehashes of already published stories?
It doesn't show up in google news: http://news.google.com/news/search?aq=f&pz=1&cf=all&ned=us&hl=en&q=source:Batangas+Today
thats strange... it's not even on google news. are you sure this neighbour has his blog in google news?
Batangastoday.com is a news website that generates more than 25K impressions daily. The CPV depends on the topic. Its not a niche site. It is a news syndicate website and it is legit. Ever heared of huffingtonpost.com? Take one article there and post it in copyscape if you can find any duplicate. It is affected by prince william engagement issue where Google temporarily removed thousands of sites from Google News. There is an ongoing issue and Google told them it will be resolved soon. http://www.newmoov.com/?p=659
Peter I read about the google news taking care of spam and its because of lower level spam sites who were spamming just to make money on adsense and affiliate marketing by posting topics with bad English just to get traffic. Its a shame these sneaky people are doing this. The Batangas Today seems to be a Filipino blogger and he is clearly just rehashing news stories to make 400 dollars a day which would make him a millionaire in his country. These are the type of new sites that google is trying to crack down on, but they are also making it tougher for quality news sites getting accepted in google. Batangas Today is not a quality news site, unlike huffingtonpost they don't offer any opinionated or editorial well written articles that are original all just aggregated articles. I seen a couple of these bloggers who just steal articles and put a DMCA disclaimer saying that the original writer can ask them kindly to remove the article, its BS because they are stealing peoples hard work and reposting it. They know how hard it is for the original writer to file a copyright or dmca and how long the process is so they just steal articles anyway. That to me is wrong and not ethical.
I think its very stupid that you show your Google News site URL, it will shutting down quickly...trust me just keep the url, don't show anyone else, or your site willkicked out from gnews since a lot of fraud reported at Gnews staff now days.
