This "have a 100 sites getting $1 a day" doesn't work. If this is what your trying to do. I have around 30 sites to, but I only get $2 or $9ish a day. I'm not getting no $30 a day.
Indexed pages is not a warranty for traffic. Keep that in mind. Why don't you try to focus on 1-2 sites and see what happen? $4 a day should be quite easy even with 1 site only. And you will have a better idea on what's going on.
i agree with that. Dont mislead newbies to create more MFA crap. Lets just maintain some quality for god sake.
Its difficult to maintain a niche website using an ads network as your basis. I am now going to create an article on the things I have done in my life with music, bars and travelling. What would be the best way to get traffic to an article like this?
Check your content and also where your ads are placed, if you place your ads on the bottom, nobody will click...
is it gonna be just one article on the existing site or a site with uniques articles? if you are doing a new site with unique content, then just regular \seo stuffs, link building, etc. you can learn more on the SEO and Link Building section of this forum
Amen! Too many people forget that it's an individual's unique perspective that provides value to web surfers, and keeps people coming back. Jay
Why niches are random, people who use my sites create the content. Just wish people would create original adverts, not "dogs for sale" or "earn millions now" ads! I get these all the time, but if I stopped, then the sites would look empty and people wouldn't bother to post the good adverts. I do make a bit of cash from paid ads on the sites, but nothing spectacular, I just wanted to make more from adsense.
YOU HAVE 32 sites RIGHT?????? YOu earn 3.99 $ But you havnt specified about your PAGE IMPRESSION / Day
Yes... google is evil nowadays. No matter how much traffic you have, how hard to work, the earnings just get lower and lower. Google is play a sick joke with many webmasters.
i really doubt google would be ripping you off.. besides better analyzing your site and improving adposition and layout have u tried with other adnetworks? try adbrite see what's the CTR there.
Traffic is the key. Content too. And try to make less websites because quantity doesn't work very well with Google Adsense.
Your right and the whole MFA thing can probably only bring short term revenue too, once people visit and realise there is not much there at a site and that the content is recycled from some other place they wont return i imagine. I agree its better to setup some sites on something that your passionate about and actually have an understanding of, it makes you take pride in the site, if you build it up properly then the adsense from a genuine site could still be great. They always say content is king, but poor content is not worth much really, so its unique, useful, irresistible content that really brings in the punters.
they migt be MFA or you are not placing the ads correctly , i heard that 350*350 is the best to attract clicks...
There are many ways to skin a cat. Jim Karter and John Reese have hundreds of blogs and Plentyof fish and others have single blogs. They all make money. What they all have in common is that they all have a lot of traffic. Ignore all these people who preach about serving the internet, doing what you love and making a contribution on a subject you are passionate about. I have an impression they are all part timers. I remember listening to an interview by Jack Charlton ( England World Cup Foootball Winner) when asked whether he enjoyed playing football. His response was that the minute you HAVE TO score goals in order to pay the bills, it stopped being fun and became a job. You can write all of the original content you want and still be ranked at page 3000 on google. You can make one mega site of 1000 pages with original content and STILL be banned form google. Just test and do what works for you instead of listening to "successful" people who make $10/month fom adsense. Test different ideas on each site and once you find a winner, roll it out to the rest. I get the impression that a lot of one passionate site builders have not heard of "outsourcing" and "leveraging".
