Or, wait, no, you're just an affiliate marketer - so you rely on putting all your eggs in one basket - not me, I make money from selling game items, CPM ads, adsense, affiliate marketing, forum posting, freelancing for bloggers, and doing SEO work. So, get on my level, and then talk to me. Because, I've been in this for a few years, and money comes and goes - but my network remains strong. Well, you have to do research in order to see what your niche is like - or you won't know what keywords to aim for, and what to write about.
Click through rate seems fine, anyways you can always reposition your ads *Remember: text ads are better in terms of revenue then image ads Ad embedding is also a good feature to think about 2000 clicks == 25$ is real serious issue (your niche is almost dead)
It depends on what ad categories are being viewed. If you go to your adsense account you can get an idea of which ad categories are paying the most for your site and which ones are not. Filter out the categories that your are getting little rev from so that the higher paying ad categories are the only ones that are going to be viewed on your site. Good luck
Hello As i think please add your url so that we are able to see the exact condition. and the other this is that you have to change the position of your ads to get a better revenue.....hope you understand.
As everyone else has mentioned it's the niche, specially if it's a mainstream video site. I used to own a video site who averaged about 15k visits per day and hardly made about $30 per day but I found out that with a good CPM network you could hit the $50 per day instead. Give a look into a few CPM networks and mention the amount of traffic and they'll let you in on a few tips on how to maximize your revenue.
Clicks also depends of the niche of you site. Or try to search in google first in which keywords is the high paying that is also related to your niche.
text can be easily embedded into your content (assuming text paragraphs) and it's possible to make it look like original post (part of the article) whilst, the same is not possible if working with image ads! (or somewhat difficult to merge images with the content).
Low paying niche Maybe bad ad placement ... But for 30k traffic even in video site earning are higher then 25$ ...
1. Check your niche in Google Adwords, see how are the CPCs. 2. Then, did you check what exactly kind of ads showing on your page? Maybe your content or niche not match the high CPC ads that you want.
Yeah some type of affiliate programs would probably be a bit more profitable for you considering your niche.
Is there any real comparison data to prove which one does better among image vs text vs image/text adsense? Assuming they were placed at the same location.
