301'ing 2 webstites into one?

Is there any benefit or penalty if you 301 site A and site B to site C?

I've never 301'd two sites to another, just wondering what one could expect.

If you have too many sites redirecting to you, it might be seen as blackhat method. Otherwise redirecting a domain to another domain that you own is a good way to migrate to a new domain.
