301 to new domain from old, using old again?

    Hi all,
    Last March I created a 301 redirect from my old domain to a new domain.

    I am now considering using the old domain again for something different than the current new domain.

    My question is: will this affect my rankings if I take off the 301 and use the old domain again?

    If the new domain have the required links from other sites for its ranking will not effect the pagerank. If not, probably after a while the PR will drop.
