Matt Cutts confirmed it. There is 'some' PR decay when you redirect from one domain to another. http://www.marketingpilgrim.com/2010/03/google-confirms-301-redirects-result-in-pagerank-loss.html Here's the actual interview: http://www.stonetemple.com/articles/interview-matt-cutts-012510.shtml
but in interview he didnt tell that he is sure that page rank will fall due 301 redirect....he said that ..he is not sure....but he will go for specific cases
if you redirect any page on other page so its not more matter but just wait 1month you got PR, Ranking back
Did you even read the interview? The rank will fade if you just 301 redirect. It will not be exactly the same, "in a follow on email, Matt confirmed that this is in fact the case. There is some loss of PR through a 301" Do you think this is logical? What specific cases are they trying to cover?
If you redirect from one domain to another, I can see that it might, but redirect from every url to a new url -in my experience there is no loss in PR, rankings, or traffic from search engines,
