301 redirect?

I currently switched domains, but my old domain is listed in directories such as DMOZ in the queue to be changed. Until that change happens, would it be better to redirect by htaccess (301) or just do a domain forward at my registrar? Is it the same thing (ex. would dmoz consider this a 301)?

I would suggest to set 301 redirection. 301 and domain forwarding are totally different.

Go Daddy has an option for 301 or 302.
