301 Redirect Referal Info

    If you use a 301 to redirect to another URL, what will the referral on the end page show? The website with the 301? Or the original site that referred them to the 301?


    If it shows the original site, is there anyway to redirect and strip the original referrer info?

    I just tested this, To anyone wondering the 301 will show the original referrer. Not the page that it passed through the 301 on.

    So now, if anyone knows how to redirect and show the referral coming from the page with the redirect I'd really appreciate it.
