I heard a lot of 301 redirect but i'm not sure will it good for my case.

I have a domain "A" with G index 400page, currently i plan to transfer all the data to Domain "B" and use Domain "A" to redirect to Domain "B".

So what will be the best solution for me ?
    Domain redirect ? or ???

you can redirect in the IIS or you can make a global.asa file where u can mention the redirect to that new url.

yes, 301 is the way to go.

I recently did the same, that is, transferring from Domain A to Domain B, with Domain A doing a 301 redirect.

However, in the transit, my traffic got lost for 7-10 days as half of the 70 pages lost the indexing but it was something expected.

But, I got all my backlinks/page indexing/PR back at the domain B after 25 days !
