301 Redirect - Is this good?

    Hi, my site was hosted on a free host for a while and I had no domain. I got pr4 since I began it. Now I have a domain but I don't wanna lose the pr4. I began researching and found out about 301 redirect. Is this good?

    RewriteEngine on
    rewritecond %{http_host} ^dodesign.fh-net.com [nc]
    rewriterule ^(.*)$ http://dodesign.us/$1 [r=301,nc]


    It seems to be working and redirects everyone to the new domain, but how will the SE's see it?
