I have a site which has an entertainment (PR4) section which has grown a lot and I want to maove it to new Domain (as I want to start a Forum and my existing site has a forum which is not entertainment related). Should I do a 301 redirect from my entertainment section to new domain and will it be helpfull. (/entertainment.html www.newdomain.com)

    Thanks.

If you do redirect, a 301 will be the most successful. In my experience, the key is to leave the 301 redirect up on the old site for as long as you possibly can. If you can leave that 301 there forever, please do--you won't regret it.

New Domain is 2 monthh old. And one more Q., this won't have any adverse effect on my existing site right?

    Thanks.
