Alright, I'm attempting to redirect all traffic to http://www.ff4online.com to http://www.finalfantasynetwork.com. I've got it redirected fine now as you'll see if you try the links.

My problem is that many requests are coming directly to subdomains at ff4online.com, such as http://www.ff4online.com/subdirectory. As you'll see by clicking that link, it attempts to forward to http://www.finalfantasynetwork.com/subdirectory, which doesn't exist.

I want all traffic to ff4online.com to forward to http://www.finalfantasynetwork.com, without carrying the whole URL string with it.

Any ideas on the htaccess code I need to accomplish this?

I should also note that there were hundreds of subdirectories on the domain ff4online.com before I took it over, and I don't have access to that structure now, so placing individual .htaccess files isn't a possibility.

ff4online.com/.htaccess to redirect everything to index of the other domain:
    Options +FollowSymLinks
    RewriteEngine On
    RewriteRule .* http://www.finalfantasynetwork.com/? [R=301,L]
    Code (markup):
