300x600 Adsense Ad Results

Are you using the Newish 300x600 Adsense Ad? And if so what results are you seeing? Good, bad or indifferent?

 

over all may be the worst ad unit
very low ctr, very few image ads till now

The 300x600 Ad is amazing. I tried it 2 weeks ago and saw a 50% in CTR.
Definitely try it out if you haven't.

 

it is good but not as good as 336x280 and 300 x250

 

It is bad now. because it is added newly the advertiser need to pick this up and publisher needs to add it to their site you can say because of low reach it is showing poor results.

 

For my website the best paid adsense size is 728x90.

 

You can try out this ad size after few months. It would give you good results.

 

Ad size is big but CPC is too low.

 

Tried out and looks good so far. The CPC of 300x600 is definitely lower compared to a 300x250 ad, but the number of clicks skyrocketed with the new format. And the total income almost doubled. Good thing is the layout is relatively new and advertisers are only beginning to build up. Once the numbers become high enough, hopefully the CPC will also improve. Adsense seem to always serve the good ones to the big players though. Have a full comparison with a 300x250 ad including earnings here.

I have tried it and got less than 300x250.
For me is not a good size.
