This happens quite a bit with my sites also. It normally always comes back though. Jumps between 800 and 23k even sometimes.

seems to be stuck at 800 something for me, at first it was stuck at 1600, hit revalidate a couple times, drop to 800 and now its stuck at 800 for me.

i've been revalidating it over the course of the last couple days, seems like it won't budge, i keep hitting revalidate... oh well...

i'm hoping this is due to google's big daddy update... but if some of you are able to have it move back up ... then maybe it's something wrong on my end.

    From my experience:

Do a site: search in google 1st before you validate, because sometimes the google.com is using the BD datacenter.

When you see good results then only you validate. It always get me good results. I'm talking about 700/24k flux :D

wow, thanks for that tip. I did noticed that in google.com, my site results dropped in half from a couple days ago (but if I point to the google BD datacenter, it's the same). I didn't correlate those two items... live and learn :).

I just assume the API results were unrelated to what I saw on google.com. I also figured that google.com is geographically load-balance so the result I see on my computer isn't necessarily what DP's server will see...

I'll keep my eye on google's BD update and see what happens. Overall the BD update is good for all of us.

Should I panic if I just went from 19,000 weight (PR5 site, with 27,000+ indexed pages) down to just over 300?

    Or wait a few days?

Hmm ... from my experience for these few days:

Google.com is hardly using BD datacenter these few days (well, maybe for me, long time since i see BD on google.com) ..

And why are you guys keep validating? Just dont touch it when you think that revalidation will bring you less weight. Always do a site: search before validation. For me, I just dont touch the revalidate button unless im 100% sure that it will bring me more weight :D

I think it's got to do with the update, so I would wait for a couple of days and then revalidate once the update settles down. I had the same issue. I added a couple of new pages and then revalidated and the weight actually went down! :) It went back up today though, so just wait and watch.
