I have several websites which have in total around 3000+ visitors/day, with more than 10000 impressions/day. The problem is that the amount of money earned with Adsense is no more than 1-2$/day. Here's one of the websites, with more than 1000 visitors/day and about 4500 impressions : http://cvedete.blogspot.com It earns around 50 cents/day. Any advice about ads placement? Thank you.
For this particular website, in my personal experience anyway, you have too much content on the homepage, your giving viewers too many options. Perhaps lower the content on the home page and you'll have more chance of a click through. Another tip I found useful is to switch title colour. If your not getting clicks with the theme colour try a blue title, even for a week to see if any difference. Best of luck with it
Hi! your blog looks good... but ill make a guest maybe becuase of the language you are using.. try to change it to english. and maybe its keywords too must be relevant to your topic.. cause the ads its showing up is computer games and etc.. you must type celebrity or something relevant to entertaiment.. theres no problem with the position of the ads its good... goodluck
Yes English Blogs receives much more attention..By the way do you really get 1000 visitors per day on tht blog since I don't see any comments on your blog and your blog alexa rank is also not so good..
Wow.... That is really low. Usually 200 impressions are enough to generate the same amount of money. Have you checked the ads that appear. Seems to me that I can see a bunch of non-related ads when I visited just now.
I agree, I think the site is alittle to fluttered... I'd say play with the themes of the ads alittle..
well, "la noi in romania" that's it i would suggest you to add a vertical link block at the top of the page with a menu like background
My suggestion is move your Adsense ads up at the top before the main article. Your adsense ads are somewhere in the middle and the best place for your ad is at the top where people can see your ad right away. Make that change and see what happens! Regards, Joseph
Thank you all for the aswers; I'll try to apply some of your advice. @snowstar : I have 2 adsense units : One is placed top right and one after the first article. The thing is that I don't want to intoxicate my readers with too much ads I'll try to change the ads colors see what happends. Good luck everyone with your Adsense!
mostly of your visitor enjoy your content, and they feel enough with your content... For example, if you make porn websites, and there is complete content, so your visitor will don't need to find another content by see / visit your ads.... So, maybe complete content not always good for our websites, but bad for our earnign
Workathomeshop is correct. To much content for an adsense site. Would work far better as an affiliate site and make much, much more
I've tried to change the ads color - it was a disaster. One problem could be , as you said , too much content on the first page. The other problem is that it is not an English language site; the clicks are very poor paid. For two days, I've managed to raise the traffic for an English site and those two days I earned $7 and $9/day. Unfortunately this site was banned from Google Adsense So it could happen to have good earnings, but not with Romanian sites. I'll probably try to monetize this particular website in another way...
Use Google Analytics to find out where your traffic is coming from.....yours is a celebrity blog and if the traffic is coming from image search then it's no surprise that you're getting few clicks. Also find the geographic location of your 1000/day traffic and then make posts suited to your audience. If the traffic is from the US then a blog in English makes more sense.
Yesterday, for example I had over 1100 visitors and more than 4400 impressions-> only 37 clicks and $0.63 Very low paid ads... Probably I'll try to focus more on my English celebrity blog that I've abandoned for a while...
