Hello everyone! As far as I can recall I have never posted a thread saying I had made it to x number of posts before. I just made my 3000th post here on DP and I wanted to say thanks to all the people here who have helped me out along the way. I have joined many different forums in the past few years, but DP is the only one where I have settled in for so long and, in my opinion it is the best forum out there as far as webmaster related forums go.
Well done! I have been looking around the forums a fair bit, looking for someone to help (in my spare time, I get bored quickly...) and I have noticed that in basically every thread that I looked at, you had bet me to it. It is people like you that make this the best webmaster forum out there. You were also the first person in DP that ordered an article from me -- which tells me that you are always keen to help out new people. Thank you for all of your help.
Congratulation... Looking for your next thread 4000 post and still going.. he he.. Thank you so much... Goodluck with your next mission.. cheers!
Thanks buddy, I appreciate the good words. I have to say that you are one of the very few writers here on DP that I would ever consider hiring for repeat work. Thanks to everyone else who has posted a reply in this thread as well.
That was when I had only just gotten into the writing business. Looking back on my work, I have noticed various phrases that are overcomplicated, and in a more literal term, do not make sense. Anyway, I must admit that most (let me emphasize this, I do not mean all) of the other writers here at Digital Point "churn out crap". But, then again, English isn't knocked into their brains well enough at schools... It is certainly not something that comes naturally, it requires a lot of practice.
Congrats! Maybe I'll make it to 3000 in a couple of years. Maybe sooner, since I'm a more active poster now.
Yes, as others have already said, it took me since June of '06. According to my profile I have an average of something less than 6 posts per day, but that was really because I went long periods without posting in the beginning.
