3000+ Backlinks in 1 day?

    Hello,

    I own/belong to a forum where I have 3000+ posts. I'm wondering if I put a link to my site, would I get 3000+ backlinks, or just 1? I get about 350 backlinks of DP, so I'm not sure.

    The forum is in SMF format, and go out like index.php?thread=27272

    I think it would count as one. If you have it site-wide SE will give it more weight thats all.

    Was counting on 3000 backlinks, lol.

    Another Question: What happens if I get a lot of backlinks from different places in 1 domain? ie: Digitalpoint forum post 232, post 2212, etc.

    But the posts are coming from the same domain.. weather its from post 223, or 2212..the domain remains the same i.e digitalpoint..

    One will be counted rest all will be devalued as far as google is concerned...but hey, you may see a lil or big rise at yahoo.. being a crap SE (IMHO) it still weighs in site-wides till now..

    If you really wanna get into link building buy few links from high PR sites.

    As you have post in same domain you will get one strong back link.

    Quality/revelant backlinks are more important than signature links

    You will get only one strong backlink and the remaining others are just normal backlinks

    It counts as one, but Yahoo will show each individual page.
