So far, my 2 favorite designs are leetsooc and designnikki

Here is my feedback for you two.

leetsooc- The main thing I would like to see is the top nave and main banner better integrated into the design. I don't feel like the top navigation bar integrates into the theme nicely. It just seems like it is there by itself. The main banner also seems like it is there all by itself.

The product detail pg. should not have a banner on that pg. at all. So I would like to see how the design would look if there were no banner on that pg. and how you would keep the background looking the same. The feeling / look of the site shouldn't change on the product detail pg.

Design Nikki- Overall, I really like the look/feel of the design. The main thing I don't like is the background color/ cloud effect. The color is a little too similar to a major competitor in the engagement rings category. Maybe you can find a lighter shade of blue? Also, I actually prefer a simpler background. I don't want a cloud effect or any other fancy effect. Just a solid color background will do.

 

Buddha I think it would be fair if you will comment my 2nd version of design.

Just wanted to ask do you need those categori goups engagement rings, wedding bands, diamonds, jewelry.....)
on the home page, or keep the settup that you wrote in 1 post.. ?

As per your feedback, I have change the background colors to lighter shade of blue. If you need more color variation , then please let me know.

Hi Nikki and Leetsoc, thanks for your updates. They are both very nice designs. I will take both designs to the design committee which will take a vote on which design to choose, assuming there is no superb last minute entry that I like tomorrow.

bdumitru- Thank you for your participation in the contest. However, it's not in the top 2 and I don't want you to waste your time updating your design if I'm not going to provide it to the panel for final judgment. I try to let people know early if I feel they are not going to win with their design so they don't invest too much time/effort, only to be disappointed. Thanks again for your entry though.
