I am currently promoting 2 different products using PPC. I have 2 .com domains set up to redirect to my hop page. One for each product. So far each product has about 150 hops, and no sales for either. What can I do to improve my conversions?
Its too soon to say. You would think you should have gotten 3 sales by now at least but it happens. What your doing is direct linking and in my experience that is expensive with PPC. You might want to send traffic to your squeeze page first, sign 'em up and send 'em through to the site. You can then follow up with them and try to sell them other products. Mike
Have you create a affiliated program for your products just, Give some Incentives and other supporting gifts to promote your PPc sites. You need some Productive users. Try to visible your sites in local area. What ever you are selling. Hope you will get good results. thanks
Don't redirect, just build a landing page telling your story with the product or comparing between three similar products...
if you use PPC, you should to be more attention in your keywords, because it's the key to make money! change your list and greate a landing page for your product!
You should take photos of your friends or just random people you find in google images.Make one-page site, put the pictures that you got and write something like:"I'm using *the product* for *any time you want* and it really help's me to *what the supposed to do*,you really should buy *the product*
If your aim is just to start 'make sales', then I suggest you to start the low cost product first as I am doing now (e.g. cheap ebooks). When you have make success, then focus more on high price products. Remember, people will not think too much to buy low cost products but they will think a lot or do some researches before buying high price products. It's same as real life, isn't it ?
I can only agree with 1 reply to this post (mikeyman), your probobly going to make a loss sending them direct to the product, as mikeyman stated, send you visitors to a squeeze/opt-in page, offer something of use, of corse related to what your trying to promote, follow up with them, build a relationship, then promote directly to your opt-in subscribers, usually called a list. Your going to make a lot more money in the long run, and also make repeat sales, without spending, hundreds/thousands of dollars/pounds or w/e currency. I would offer you an free ebook i recently wrote on this exact subject but im not sure im alloud as of yet..... Seano
A review page is the best way to increase your conversion rate. Give an honest review of the product you are promoting and direct the traffic from there. Also make sure that your keywords are highly targeted and try to increase your quality score to lower bid costs
Direct linking is less effective than pre-selling the product. If you think that being an affiliate is only: setup a campaign and send visitor to a landing page you should consider that the vendor can make it on his own without splitting his earnings with you. (anyway 300 hops with no conversion, even if it's soon to say is very low: before trying to sell a product just think if You want to buy it; if you think "may be later" that's the same thing the visitors you're sending will think )
ill make this comment real simple to understand. 1. Must have landing page 2. Must Test your landing page (split test) 3. Must test your PPC ads and keywords. Always have 2-3 ads running and junk the one that has the lowest CTR. Get rid of all the keywords if they dont make you a sale in 300-500 clicks. If your CPC is higher, then do 100 -150 clicks.
I was going to create a new topic, but I think it belongs here, and if it's hijacking the thread, I apologize. I am selling a variety of products in a variety of niches through Clickbank using Twitter. I am averaging 80+ click throughs PER DAY. I've made two sales in two months. I've done the research, found clickbank products that have high gravity, commission rate, etc. I've set up realistic looking Twitter accounts for each niche. I have set up daily jokes, quotes, and also scheduled automatic posts with links. I've made it so it rotates the messages and the products (I only sell three or four products per account). I even go into the accounts anywhere from once a week to once a day and strike up conversations so ppl know its a real person. I know it's all about the numbers, but WTF? two sales in two months, and I'm averaging 80+ clicks PER DAY????? What the hell am I doing wrong? thanks
Some avenues of traffic just wont convert. The other day i seen an ad in the mens bathroom at for a local dog training business. Seriously...the last thing on my mind when i am at a bar taking a leak is training my dog. Now put that same ad in the pet store or in the dog food isle and the groacery store and you could be set. Just goes to show you that just becuase you have a link to a product on site does not mean people will buy You are attracting a lot of tire kickers who doent want to or who wont buy.
What rjd1265 said. Maybe you should try to add in a landing page between the product and the twitterer (is that even a word?!) If you think about it, people on Twitter aren't there to buy anything starting off, so showing them a product page will only annoy them because they have to scroll down to read it all. They'd probably just click away and go back to tweeting, which is why they came in the first place. What are your order form impressions like; that may give you a clearer view of how many people have at least thought about buying it. Also, how many people on Twitter use the computer when tweeting? A lot of the <s>twits</s> people I know who use Twitter use it via phone primarily. Maybe their phones can't properly show the page?
