$300 Homepage Template Contest- Need PSD only - Ends in 7 days

Project Overview:
I'm looking to create a screenshot for a new website called www.junkunderjeans.com. Junk is a premium men's underwear brand that is fashionable, trendy, and comfortable for today's urban man.

The website screen shot has the following requirements:
- Total size is 1400 x 1100 px (background image)
- Main website body size is 1000 x 1000
- Middle content area is 820 x 800
- Left hand nav is 180 px wide
- Center Banner 550 x 500
- rt banners 185 x 65
- bottom banners 170 x 100

Materials:
Below is the url to download all the materials you will need, which includes the logo, background, icons, fonts, images, and sample screenshots.

Other Directions:
There is a sample jpg screenshot in the online folder. This screenshot gives you a rough idea of how I would like it to look. I would like the general layout of the final screenshot to be very similar or identical to the sample. However, I am looking for you to add value by incorporating your own creative design ideas to the basic screenshot. I want a premium quality brand with a fashionable chic look. I also like the use of subtle gradients to create a sophisticated design.

For Delivery, I will need a PSD file of the completed screenshot. I will be happy with the final screenshot if I can compare it to my sample screenshot and feel that the final product looks cooler.

I will choose the designer that can come up with a fashionable cool design based upon my original sample and specifications. I am paying a premium for this homepage design and providing all of the artwork you need so I will expect a high quality template. I reserve the right to not select any winners if I am not satisfied with any entries.

Upon selecting a designer, I would like you to include any reasonable revisions to complete the template that I want. Good Luck and hope to find a creative designer!

Hi is it possible to put all the files into a zip folder to download. I will try and enter.

 

The contest will end next Tuesday. However, if you submit earlier, I can provide feedback to your design so you know what I'm looking for.

Hi Sax,

I'm impressed with your 1st rendition of the design. Overall, I like it.

Here are the things that I like:
- Junk logo/gradient highlight
- Buttons on top
- Subtle design throughout the template to make it look edgy and raw. (ie. slightly rough edges where appropriate)
- Main center banner

Here are some suggestions:
- I don't like the buttons below "apparel". The don't have the right feel.
- Don't know how it would look, but can you try incorporating 1 of the icon designs in the template?
- The junk font is red on the box. Is there a way to incorporate Junk in red? I've uploaded a new file called junkbox that shows the actual box.
- The bottom right buttons, can you try just putting the text separated by a graphic line that's faint on the top/bottom edge?

Overall, I'd say you set the bar high and you are the design to beat.

OK, so I added some icons elements (in the header, the background of the header, underneath the email newsletter section, and subtly in the main center banner). I also incorporated the red colouring you requested, especially around the logo. Updated the buttons, and finally, I main the changes to the bottom links.

Jeez17: I do like your design and I can tell you put a lot of creative thought into it.
I liked:
- the gradients used in the words
- the use of the icons in the template without sticking out too much
- the custom banner outlines on the rt side

Suggestions:
- I like the top banner that you made, but takes up too much valuable screen space and it's gradient colors don't mesh well with the background.
- I'd like to see the main body of the template with a slight drop shadow so the main content pops up just a little like in my screen shot. Currently the background blends in with the main content.
- the "junk underjeans" logo is a bit small and hard to read the "underjeans" part. I'd prefer it larger.

Cebumedia:
- It's a nice clean design that you made that is different from everyone else. However, it's not quite the look of the brand that we're going for. Thanks for your efforts.
