Sedo is the best for domains with low/medium traffic cause you will have the extra option to sell them on auction without big commission.

sedo is off late generating plenty of negative feedback. infact, someone here complained of being banned by them.

a domain name that is not "in use" at the moment.
I.E. there is NO website on it.

so, you might as well PARK it somewhere where you might make a few bucks with it.

    make sense?
    :)

Go for sedo, as they are free and if domains are getting traffic they they offer good ppc rates also.

Although SEDO is where I park my for sale domains...godaddy makes you pay to earn from parking...CRAP!!! However, there seems to be other viable options out there. I am in the exploration stage with this company right now...

    http://www.evolanding.com

Can't advise you either way. I really have no idea if they are right for me or not...They appear to be focused on four topics mainly: Real Estate, Tourism, Jobs and Geo domains. So far so good with a reasonable portion of my portfolio.

How does Sedo compare to say creating a one-page landing page with Google Ads on it?

I recently moved 100 domain names from Sedo to Parked, so far so good. The monthly earnings are (guessing here, have not analyzed the data) about 30% more than Sedo. Your results may vary of course. Have you considered parking some at Sedo and the balance at Parked or other program?

In my opinion, usually this is a better option than any parking service I've
tried. For one, you are not splitting the click revenue with the parking service.
Secondly... more creative freedom. You can add income generating links, quality links to build search ranking - better customization abilities all round.

As for parking services...Parked, Namedrive are good for their
semi-customizable templates+ you can add a link of your own.
Trafficz and Fabulous are also ones I like.

I like the charts and statistics graphs that RevenueDirect offers but
they had quite a few complaints in the recent past for not paying out on Payday.

why not just sell them and get your money now. parking is only going to degrade Page rank.

Don't park!! Create something good on them that can run by themselves (proxies or some service), add some google adsense on them, i guarantee, if you market them a little bit and link each other, you will get good stats ans money!!!

Put them on parked.com, they will reject some domains, put the rejected domains on namedrive.com

I created a social networking site for webmasters at vbuddy.com and now am thinking of letting people park their domains and make money with Google Adwords or Yahoo Ads. Right now if you registered with postmaster@yourdomain you could already set your ads. The next thing would be to allow users to park their domains and also become the admin without requiring an email from their domain.

Is this something you guys might use if I made it happen?

    Example site:

Well, for a lot of people it just isn't logical or possible to build quality sites on that many domains.

I currently have only had the time to develop about 20 names out of the 3,000+ I own this year. So, it is better to park them than to not monetize them at all. Also, oftentimes you get a much higher RPM and CPC because generally parking companies have better paying feeds than regular ad placement like with adsense. I have parked with Fabulous, SedoPro, Namedrive, DDC, Bodis, DomainSponsor, ActiveAudience, and Parked.com. In my experience, Parked.com, Fabulous, and Bodis are the only worthwhile services. My average RPM on parked is over $80.00, and my CTR on parked averages about 40-50%. Plus, parked.com allows multiple clicks. And trust me, it is nice when you have 1 visitor with 13 clicks that pays out $10+. :) It is true that parked.com has become more selective in their application process, but if you generally know someone in the program who has a decent reputation, and sign up with their referral... they seem to be more trusting and it is easier to get accepted. Plus, parked lets you add your own affiliate content on your pages. Bodis also allows this, but right now bodis is closed to anyone who didn't sign up during the initial building stage where you were guaranteed 100% rev share.

Oh, and don't even bother parking with Sedo... seriously.
