No, you most likely won't get anywhere with $30. It will increase your traffic by $30 in clicks - If you're paying $1/click, that's 30 visits, or if you pay $0.10/click, it's 300.

    What are you selling?

Don't know how competitive the soccer niche is, but if you could find
some broad terms that people search for with little competition, you could
get a handful of leads. use google's keyword tool to find high searched low competition words.

From there it is just a matter of testing.

$30 wont last long ... I go through that in a few hours!

    Ask yourself:

*What's the point of my forum? Is it to make money? Make friends? Make another cool forum to someday monetize on? Does it promote affiliates to make sales?

Asking how much you need to spend depends greatly on what your objectives are. If you are selling a product through an affiliate program and have banners or text ads on the forum, they could make you lot's of money.

If you're looking for soccer traffic just to populate your forum with more posts it would be silly in my opinion to to adwords for $30, and if you do, you should do it all in one - three days, to attract quicker signups and activity...

Though I'm not downing your efforts, that $30 could in fact have some value to your forum but only if you're expecting to make $30 back somehow or to create enough posts that you would feel satisfied with.

On the flip side instead of paying for ads, you can display adsense ads if/when your forum gets busy.

I'm rambling, sorry - in short the above post is right - 300 clicks max on a good campaign over a month won't do much.

Forums are hard to populate quickly as are most new communities. These days incentives are everything so I'd rather pay 30 people a buck to sign up and make 2-5 posts. or $3 to 10 people. Join other soccer forums, facebook group it, write good articles and get them posted talking about the unique incentive at your .com. When you make enough noise and some money to play with, you can read more posts here to learn how ppl make money from their efforts-so far it seems you need to finalize your gameplan.

All the best, make it a great day.
