Thats true. Youtube turned into a TV. Also with the upcoming movie and series section.. But it's pretty obvious. Google just wants to earn money. And the rates for these video ads are pretty high compared to banner ads. Still I think Youtube won't die. It's the #1 source for videos and it will stay like this for the next years
Yes very annoyning now, when you have to wait till the ad finishes, but for some ads you can skip just after 5 seconds or so
