    something that works with ten thousands of ppl from all around the globe - I did it as well many years in my teenage years:

    Take a few LARGE bags - then walk 10-20 kms each day thru your neighborhood and collect all recyclables - like plastic bottles, glass bottles, aluminum cans, metals, etc ...
    then bring it to a recycle shop and within a day or 2 you should have your 30 $ !!

    many make a living and a true fortune with precisely such work
