Hi there - I love the work that's coming from this thread and I have a new site that is going up and needs a logo pretty fast. The one we like best will get the $30 and we are looking to launch this coming weekend. There are two other sites that will accompany this site and will need similar logos made (one is mentioned below). 1. Name of site (that needs to be readable) is "Rank Local" the site is 'ranklocal.net' and referred to as the "Rank Local Network". 2. This will be primarily just like it sounds - a website that will offer local search rankings to the general public to get their websites ranked in the search engines like Google (Google Local, Bing, Dex, etc.) 3. To fit the design we need a strong orange color with two shades of blue, but this is not set in stone. Please submit with a transparent background. 4. Would like an identifiable icon to go with the branding and worked into the logo however you see fit! 5. Needs to be professional but we are open to ANY style! Creativity goes a long way with our company. If you need more info please feel free to PM me or reply here. As mentioned above, the other immediate site that will come next is SESMO.net and also has a SEO/Social Media theme to it, just to keep in mind for common branding from the same parent company. Sure thing - we are looking for a logo wider than taller and it can be any size as long as it is under 400 x 130 (width x height).

WOW - I must say everyone's ideas for this are great! We do a LOT of designing thoughout the year (for instance last year we had 47 projects that needed designed and 32 of them needed a logo). SO - no matter which one we choose all of you will be getting PM's from my partner and I as we move forward into 2010. This is the first time we have setup a contest like this and you all blew us away with such great design and providing it so quickly. We will decide on the first day of 2010 as promised. Those of you who PM'ed us with your entry I will respond to those privately. RED - I love the concept here and I think this will work on a site that we start in late January but for the rank local site we need a more clean look. I think the design is great and the fading of colors is good. Plazma - I know where the second one came from as I used it as a logo for a client site. Talking to my partner we don't want to use the globe since it is not a "local" theme. Cimbuak - Your have got my partners attention as right now he is leaning towards your black and white designs. SInce we need a logo that is wider than tall we might want to put the icon to the left of the wording. Do you provide a vector design or what format would you give this to us in to make minor adjustments in color and layout? Satchii - Very unique and catchy design. The use of this unique font in the blocks is really cool and one of my top choices - we would need to get it to be more wide than tall as I put in my second message but my partner has not seen this one yet, definitely the most unique logo out there and does not look like a template! NK - very nice, unfortunately we want to stay away from the globe as the globe doesn't represent the "local" nature of the business. Very cool though.
Hey there Squash - i tried to PM you but it said username not found so I thought I would give you a heads up on your design. I like the way that you integrated the bar chart in the logo and the way that you joined the two words together. I am going to run this one by my partner - we would definitely like to change the font though as it is hard to read in cursive. Thanks again everbody - decision in 4 days!
