Contest $30 Logo/Icon Contest <--- U KNOW U WANT TO SHOW OFF YOUR WORK!!

Hello,

I've had some great luck with logo contest on DP in the past and now it's time to purchase a nice logo for my forum so ofcourse I come back to DP!

Okay here are some details.
The logo is for this forum: General Forums
You can see our current logo is 333x80 pixels, I'd like to keep the new one to around that size but I would want a vector image so that I can blow it up as well.

I've always liked the colors blue/white but would be interested in other styles
We have a few styles on the forum, try not to base your colors on those, I can make a new one or get a custom style in the future, I want a good logo for now.

I'd like it to have an roundish icon in the logo, maybe at the start, with GF in it somehow
We currently have the tagline (a place to talk about anything) feel free to use that or suggest one.

I hope to get a logo picked within one week.
I'll review and suggest on the way, don't be bashful, toss up anything

okay, here is my feedback and I’ll list it by post #’s

#2. I don't really like it, looking for a more corporate look tbh
#3. I like the cleanness of it, but it’s missing something
#5. I really like this, the small f in the icon looks weird to me, maybe make it a capital F and in the logo as well.
#7. I don’t really care for the glass finish on this, I sort of like the placement of the GF in the icon, but the glass finish ruins it for me
#8 I like the colors but that’s about it, the letter thickness and everything seems to thin
#9 sorry, I don’t really care at all for this, looking for a more professional look if that helps
#10 I like this but can we replace the small f with a big one too F there seems to be something missing but I can’t name it.

Hi, here's my idea so far:

 

here is my revision, I made the "F" capital on both sides. I also made a 2nd version without any effects

Here's my 2nd go at it :

 

#14. I like the new look compared to the others, I don’t care for the “forums” part being smaller, also the 2 group icons look out of place, I like the idea but they just don’t look right.
#15. I like it, I don’t really have any suggestions but it’s not my fav 
#16. I like the big F, the font for General Forums seems off tho, I don’t know fonts so I don’t have any suggestions
#17. I don’t like the F inside the G, other than that I like the bubble around forums with the anchor below.
#18. I like what you’re trying to do with the logo, but I don’t care for the small F..

I guess what I’m getting at is the G & F need to be the same size.
