@msi52: Please forgive me for missing your logo. Below is the feedback from the client:

"I really like where the 'Lois Lane of the Web' is placed in this logo. However, the pink in the logo is too 'girly,' since this is a business blog I want to appear the expert and this is a little lightweight. I like where the newspaper image is placed."

@cottonStella: I really like this logo. Though, not a fan of the underline on "girl" or the pen. I'm not sure a pen is the best image for me. I'm a writer but it's online. It's old school sensibilities (as in newspapers) applied to new technology (blogging). In your second logo I prefer not to use a newspaper graphic. Overall, it's too plain and doesn't communicate anything about me. I'm not a fan of the font.

@scorpionagency: I like the black and white best but the graphic makes the image taller than I prefer. Also, would like more color (not background but on the font).

@jackieh1791: The font is a bit too strong and heavy. I prefer to make the tagline in lower case. The newspaper graphic is a bit too clip-artl.

@Rover.SC: The font is more Web 2.0. than I prefer - I'd like a font that's not antiquated but not cutting edge either. I'm not a fan of the pen and paper graphic. I do take notes a lot on notebooks but it's really the web where I'm best. Where everything is searchable.

I like the Bluefish and digitalvoodoo logos below. Even though they don't fit my brand, they are colorful and not too plain.

Sorry for the delay. Here is my feedback.

@katesrobyn: Your design is definitely the closest to the sample logos the client provided. However, the purple scholar doesn't fit the brand.

@msi52: I like 11a8mxy.jpg a lot. Good job in moving the newspaper to the side. no more changes needed. Looking at vrsrjt.jpg design and 15ft6ib.jpg design, I have to say I like 15ft6ib.jpg more. However, these logos are not my absolute favorites, but thank you for your many submissions.

@Dawnry: Really like this logo. It has both sass and professionalism. No changes needed.

@anidesign: I always like it when you enter my contest, because you have a distinct corporate style that nobody else seems to have. The client had this say about your red design: "This one is being voted the best. Again, a square (for pad of paper) and a pen rather than a pencil."

@cottonStella: Thank you for trying to incorporate all of the clients suggestions. However, she still likes your first design. This is what she had to say: "Her first design still is one of my favorites. Would rather have a pad of paper and a regular ball point pen. If you know me I have a spiral bound notebook and pen with me at all times."
