$30 Logo Design for NewsPaperGirl.com (48 hours)

I am needing a logo for the website NewsPaperGirl.com. This site is a professional blog on web marketing, and online press releases.

I have found that a logo looks good when you have three main elements: a graphic, the name of your site, and a slogan. Obviously, you know the name of the site. The slogan is: "Lois Lane of the Web." For the graphic I thought of using something to do with journalism or newspapers (even something with superman would be pretty cool, but we are definitely looking for something that looks more journalism than anything). I'll leave the color scheme up to your artistic creativity.

All questions and submissions must be submitted through the thread. I will not take any PM-ed designs or questions. This way I don't have to repeat myself and the general contest can benefit from your talent and insight.

The contest is for 48 hours or until a clear winner is decided on. Please PM if you have any questions.

I have a quick, but probably stupid question. Shouldn't it be Lois Lane instead of Louis Lane? I thought maybe it was a typo.

Yeah, jackie1791 is correct it is Lois. Thanks for the catching the mistake.

@scorpionagency: Thanks for being the first to submit. I like how in the blue logos that you contrasted the text. However, the pencil and paper icon just doesn't fit as well. I need something more shiny web 2.0. Hope that helps.

@jackieh1791: I do like the concept of how you tie the pink with girl and the newspaper icon. No changes needed.

@tDesigns: Not exactly what I am looking for, but thank you for your submission.

@Rover.SC: I like the web 2.0 look, plus I like how you tied the pen icon with the slogan. However, it took me a minute to figure out that the icon was a pen. I would try a different pen.

@Revil O: I appreciate putting the logo into the current webdesign. It makes it easier to visualize. However, The logo overall doesn't fit. The pen quill is too archiac for this site.
