Hello designers. I got in touch with my client and this is what they said.

@akosvan: love the depth that this logo has. Like the font used. Make kahuku org bigger? Extend some lines to hint at a box car? Not a fan of the angle/placement of the raider on front of the train.- This was what was said of the earlier submission. For your newest submission they love the word design of having the circle of the words above the train.

@pehulz: train has too much detail but I like that we can tell what it is. Not a fan of the font used.

@herodineshkumar: out of all the logos submitted this is the one I found myself going back to the most. Super eye catching. Simple. To the point. Just enough detail however ibworry people won't be able to tell its a sugar mill train. Love the positioning and simplicity this. And that the burn look has been inverted into the design itself and a red background used instead. Need to find a place to put kahuku.org(maybe on the train). Like the font used! Can we try variations of word placement?

@appleiinc: I like how you incorporated color into the design! Overall the feel has too much of a toy/little kid feel to it. Need adult classy feel to it. Don't like kahuku.org coming out of the smoke.

@xtr33m train has some great simple detail. Not a fan of the colors. Emphasis should be on red line express not kahuku org

I tried opening the links that @topsniper had. Got virus warning

When we talk about the "Red Line" we are talking about the line that ties all of the Hawaii communities that make up our school.

When we talk about the "Red Line" we are also talking about the clothing line that we produce.

So while I believe the "express" part of our name has been captured with the sugar mill train the other two parts of the name "red line" have been left out. And I also feel there is nothing in the design itself that ties it back to Hawaii.

@herodineshkumar Is there something else that could be added to the train to really make people say oh that is a train? What would this logo look like in black & white? Could we look at trying different font sizes for Kahuku.org under the Red Line Express. Maybe adding something in-between the two phrases that shows we are a Hawaii company? Or ties in the "Red Line" of the name itself? I am really drawn to the simplicity of this design. I could use the symbol by itself or with the words "Red Line Express" and Kahuku.org…

@kainraziall wow. When I first saw this I fell in love with the incorporation of the Red color and the circle around the train.…Is there a way to make the train even simpler without losing the knowledge that it is a train? I don't really like the speckled look in the font. I also like how "Red Line Express" was given the lead, but Kahuku.org was not lost in the design and still stands out too.
