Hello, I'm back again it seems like a fun contest, here's my try : avaible in 300dpi / PSD Layered file avaible
I´m aware that my entry looks unlike the previous ones. Here´s why: in my opinion a logo has to function. That means it has to look the same way when you downscale it to about 50 pixels height. It has to be reduced and unique. Palms + name won´t make it unique, you have to work with the name itself. So hopefully I don´t sound arrogant and I haven´t terribly misread the briefing: to me it says: make it look bright, fun and uncomplicated.
I think you may have missed the images that were uploaded in about the third post that the client favors.
No, I haven´t. Please do yourself and your client a favor and ask what the specifics will be if the logo is actually printed on a label on a piece of clothing. You won´t get far with 32 million colors and lots of hairlines or gradients. Just take all the submissions so far resize them to the size of a label and see for yourself what would be useless. (Additionally, avoiding stock images might be a good idea.)
