hecky: i don't like the circle around the logo. can you please make the red one the same color red that i have on my site? i don't like the www.rinvo.com underneath Rinvo. Please remove that. Could you try a couple variations of putting .com at the end of rinvo (maybe a vertical .com would work)? also, please make the .com letters gray.

tdg: your entries are way off base and frankly look like a complete photoshop newbie designed them. please look at the higher quality logos that have been submitted if you are confused about what I'm looking for.

You entries are nice, but I think they have too much going on. You have the home, a circle going around the home, and the "We answer any of your home improvement needs" text. This just seems like too much. I just don't think your entries will look good in the space I designated for the logo.

If you try another entry, I would like to see something other than a house next to Rinvo. Maybe just some cool shape/design or something.

I thought I'd give it one last try.

Maybe this will suit your needs.

Wow dude. You say I'm harsh, fine. I'd say I was just being honest. Anyone can see the huge difference in quality between your submissions (stock text with a stroke and a reflection) and the high quality entries (original ideas with great colors and smooth lines)

I'm sorry but you're bang out of order mate. As a designer you need to expect and deal with criticism, it is part and parcel of the job. Your work isn't what Jay is after and that's that. Deal with it. Perhaps instead of complaining and throwing a hissy fit you should grow up, take his criticism on board, and work on a more unique and professional concept that is of a similar standard as the other entrant's submissions?

Sorry to hijack your thread Jay but I think it needed to be said. I will see if I can knock a few things together and post an entry later today :)

Matt, Calling me a "Photoshop Newbie" is not critisism that designers need to deal with. How does that help me in anyway? It doesnt.

He didn't call you one, he said your entry looked like a noob created it. Just move on mate, channel your energy into another contest or client's work. It'll be worth it :)
