We are an Australian training company working with professionals seeking to upgrade their qualifications. We are wanting a logo to use on our website and stationery. The successful designer will supply jpg and source files. We are wanting something that is professional, contemporary and playful. The company name is: Sterling Edge We will provide speedy and regular feedback and the contest will end in 4 days (4pm Wednesday Australian Eastern Standard Time) Any questions please ask.
My apologies: (the first posting crashed and I missed the name second time round!) The name is Sterling Edge Thanks
Sure - the url will be sterlingedge.com.au - but as of right now it doesn't exist - we are waiting for a logo to then get the header etc.
Please all post your designs in the thread otherwise everyone doesn't gain the benefit of the feedback. Good Design: lacks originality seen far too many with similar logo Animman : too masculine, don't like picture, font or colours! Good to get the contest up and running.
Thanks for the latest entries. Our current favourite is Christiano18 (HeyMedia) but here are our thoughts: General comment: Whilst I am the one posting here this project is a partnership between my daughter and I and our target market will include both men and women. We think the designs are on the masculine side in terms of colours and fonts. Having said that here are our specific comments: Johnrossgd – Colours a bit wishywashy. Font still a bit masculine, Not sure on se looks like a pack of cards Christiano18 – Like colours, the font is a bit too rigid, the se motif is growing on us. XDexiner – Don’t like colours, don’t like font too rigid, undecided on SE like it but not 100% sure. Certainly wouldn’t want the SE in two colours. Wend666 – Don’t like shade of blue or the blue font, don’t like motif. Like Edge and the shadow. Hope that helps - keep the ideas flowing.
Good designer: Thank you for your entry, again too masculine and the motif is rather old school. Like colours
Logos4all - thanks for your entry. Very creative, we like your innovative approach. Unfortunately the motif isn't a good fit for our brand
