@Dakouten: Thanks ! @zyndtel: Good Entry ! Something I didn't mention before was, this isn't only for just 1 Logo Contest but will also be for many other things, as we'd like to keep a close relationship with the winner for future work. We'll also need logos, banners and other designs for the website. We're also not stuck on only $30 just for this contest, we have no problem paying more, but we need to have the logo designed to fit our needs and requirements. Also, keep in mind that there should be enough room on the bottom rocker to accommodate every state name.
1st entry. hope youll like this one thought i could explain my design. Union = generally i placed a U for the union and it represented by the handle bars of the bike People = the biker is the skull with red flame above its head.
@suke: Nice entry, but we need a 3-patch or 4-patch set. @Sabosushimi: Like the concept, but again, need a 3-patch or 4-patch set. Remember, that these will be sewn onto black leather.
yes please explain to us whats a 3-4patch are? im thinking of layers? is that what you mean? limit the colors to 3-4 layers only?
Okay, sorry, I thought everyone would understand the terms. Here's an example of a 3-patch set: and here's an example of a 4-patch set: A 4-patch set is preferred.
@Dakouten: On 2nd image... That's better! Perhaps the logo size should be reduced a little to actually fit under the top rocker (and perhaps the handlebar levers would be even with the edge of the rockers, too). If we go with white rockers and black lettering, let's use the font you used for "MC" for the rockers as well. Also, perhaps reduce the font size of "MC", and give it a patch bacground (like the rockers). @Sabosushimi: That's alot better, too ! I like the fact that you placed it on the back of leather for the visual effect ! @zyndtel: I like that better than the scroll effect on your previous entry. Perhaps since there's a colored border on 3 patches, "MC" should also have a colored border too. @renderwork: Thanks for your entry. Nice design, but I feel this should have the traditional top & bottom rockers. I do like the fact that you also placed it on the back of leather for the visual effect ! Keep up the great work guys ! Like I mentioned in one of my previous posts, I'll be taking everything I've received to our meeting tonight to get the member's opinions.
Hey everyone, sorry for the delay. I took all of the entries to our meeting and showed everyone. Each member glanced over the entries, but nothing was voted on as a group at that time. It was motioned that a designed logo would be discussed at our next meeting and probably voted on at that time. Our next meeting is Thursday night.
