imhawk: #21 I appreciate the positive attitude but still not fully heading in the right direction. You still have 3 colours and I need a maximum of two. Your logo is one I would purchase after a few small alterations. The only thing is I happen to like a couple of other entries better.

katesrobyn: good to see you again. It is a very pleasant and stylish logo and one done fully according to my requirements. There is nothing wrong with your design, except that as mentioned earlier I happen to like a couple of other ones more.

neonic: thanks again. A much better looking icon. Actually the other one was a great icon too, but this is somehow more suitable in my opinion. Although I like your work, my top two are still onlyfights and crowquill.

watari: my old friend. Thanks for entering this. It looks good and very stylish but it's just a touch too busy for me. Don't get me wrong, I like it but I find the top two more suitable because the word ma_xoblend seems to stand out more in a bolder font.

It's 4am at me end. The baby woke me up so I had a look at my contest. WOW, is all I can say. So many great entries. I will come back with some feedback once I'm awake but here are the top 3: onlyfights, crowquill and jnjnnino (last two entries in #34).

I think we'll end this in less than 24hrs since I got so many great entries and choosing a winner is already proving to be a very tough choice.

 

I need one of those shakers myself. The logos are cool too! Keep up the good work. I should have a contest for you folks soon.

 

Once again, sorry for the late feedbacks. I must honestly say there are plenty of great entries and I would be satisfied with almost all of them. But this is DP and in my case I have plenty of supercool entries to choose from.

pheonix: thanks for the entry. It is certainly creative and stands out but I need something that captivates a broader audience such as more serious dudes (and dudettes) and yours seems a touch too colourful.


imhawk: it's definitely an improvement and heading in the right direction and like I said earlier I would be happy to go with your logo. The reason I won't is only because I like other entries better, and not because I don't find your logo suitable. Thanks for putting up a good fight.

lefty: great entry and also thanks for placing it on the shaker. While the icon looks good and is very stylish, the font is not wide enough for this project.

Azylum: #30, thanks for the entry. The font is pleasant but the icon doesn't fully grab me. If this wasn't such a tough contest with lots, and I mean lots of great entries I would have asked for some alterations and I would have bought your logo. But then again, there are plenty of entries which I could see myself buying. #32 also looks good but the x could be confused with a K. Nevertheless a great entry and the only thing is I happen to like other entries more.

jamorz: to answer your question, yes I like them. They look good and I can't fault them. I like the top one better simply because I like simpler designs. The only problem is I happen to like other entries better where the icon is a little more to my liking. Thanks for entering this contest.

kÖe: thanks again mate. Looks good but just a touch plain when compared with my top 3 favorite entries. I think it could have been developed a little more.

jnjnnino: all look good but my favorite is the second one from the bottom up.

Xdexter: thanks for the submission. Looks good but this is a tough contest and I just happen to like other entries better. Otherwise I would have been happy to purchase your logo.

crowquill: what can I say other than the fact that is a great entry. It's in my top three as far as design goes but the colours look a little boring to me.


THE FINALISTS: As with my other contests I wish to choose the finalists and then it's up to the finalists if they decide to do some changes and compete to win. The finalists are in the order I like the designs, although they are very close:

Finalist 1: onlyfights. The second submission: please show the logo in a single colour and reduce the word shaker. Shaker is only a secondary name which is not important and the main focus should be on m_axoblend. So shaker needs to be reduced in size and made the same colour.

Finalist 2: crowquill. I really like the last one but nevertheless even the first submission (the very first one at the top) would have been a finalist. Please do everything in one colour and perhaps use a slightly brighter shade. The only other thing is if you can reduce the effect on the icon. The icon looks good but needs to be a little softer/smoother somehow. Everyone that saw your last one liked it but said it's just a bit too much.

Finalist 3: jnjnnino Please show either one of the bottom two in a single colour and please remove the word shaker from overlapping with m_axoblend and place it under m_axoblend and not on top of it as it's hard to read like that.

If you're a finalist it's up to you if you want to do the changes or not. Once I get the changes done by the finalists the winner will be chosen. I will not accept any additional entries since I already have a bit of a headache choosing between three very, very good entries.
