Just to avoid confusion: So you want a pure textmark, i.e. your name being the only part of the logo with no accompanying image? The Nike swoosh would usually be referred to as an icon / a mark (as opposed to textmark)?
herenow - a symbol is needed - but not exactly an icon, just clearing your confusion a mascot might be cool with the textmark... you may love to highlight the words "P A N" in the logo.
