Contest $30 Logo Contest - May have multiple winners - 72 hours long!

Hi,

We are creating a new company called "CT Computer Pros"

This company will offer local computer services


Requirements:

-We would like a creative logo with the words "CT Computer Pros" and an icon.

-The icon must be something related to computers and if you want to go the extra mile, you may also try to incorporate the state of Connecticut in the design as well for bonus points (be creative)

- Please take a look at the template we have setup here http://www.ctcomputerpros.com/ for the color scheme. The logo will be placed on the top left of the website. Please place your submissions on that background.

-Final File submission must be in Vector format (AI preferred)



Timeline & Payment

-$30 via paypal

-Contest will run for 72hrs from when this thread began (I will only extend the contest if I am awaiting a contestant's submission or revision)

-There will definitely be at least 1 winner (I am very against clients reserving the right to cancel contests)

-If we don't feel that we will be able to use any logos submitted here for the website, the top 4 winners will receive $10 each instead of 1 winner receiving $30.

Guys thanks for your submissions so far.

Since I noticed that my 2 favorite icon designs didn't try to incorporate the state of Connecticut, I want to keep the icons ONLY relating to computers and NOT the state of Connecticut.

Also, please try to make the logos look a bit less 2.0ish and more professional; less shiny.

Specific Feedback:

pehulz: Very Creative. The icon is a little complicated though, and the coloring is too shiny where it looks a bit unprofessional, if you can make it look more professional and make an icon that focuses specifically on computers, you have a chance of breaking a head.

anj.07: Cool idea, but I dont think the lower case letters look professional, the logo is too simple and most ppl from my target market wont know how that symbol relates to computers; I'm also not a fan of 3d.

ideosmil: You are ahead so far, love the text. The icon is a tiny bit complicated, maybe try removing the bits coming from the screen and maybe create a different more simple icon as an alternative and also if you keep the shades of blue in the gradient of the icon similar to the text instead of going light will probably make that one hard to beat.

logoesdesign: Thanks for the submission but that one doesn't match the color or the professionalism of the template.

guideline: I dont think that one presents a very professional image.

kainraziall: I like the top logo more, the font looks good, but the icon is too complicated and i think the shininess is unecessary

pehulz: I like that better, but I dont think I like it enough to put you a

logoesdesign: I like the way you did your gradient most of all, but not a fan of the icon at all. The font you chose is pretty good too and with a better icon, your design can be a contender

kainraziall: still not liking the icons as much as other contestants' submissions

guideline: I like the creativity, but I dont believe my target market will appreciate it

ideosmil: Love the first revision, you are still in 1st place... the only suggestion I have is can you make the gradients a little more like the shades in the template colors like logoesdesign's
