Contest $30 Logo Contest - Gourmet Food Category - Elegant but Modern

I would like a logo for Li/mit/ed/////Go/ur/met[.com] - this will be an e-commerce online store. it will sell gourmet food items - pasta, sauces, teas, etc
So it has to have an "elegant" feel to it - something where people who shop are usually at home wives or women - someone who cooks and spends time in kitchen.
It should have warm home colors - kitchen inspiration but gourmet (so higher end better food).

Please make the logo just the two words (no .com)

You can select the colors, etc as you think feels best for the feel that I am describing above.

    Thanks!

Hi Nora - thanks for the entry. It's an OK start, but doesn't seem like what I was expecting. It's a bit too simple with the regular font - and I'm not sure that the symbol up top fits the theme of gourmet food. But the colors are a good possible match for the site. Thanks.

    Thanks for the extra entries:

Be Different - thanks for the two font options. I don't see this as a good fit for my vision here - sorry. It's too shiny and the cart image makes it a better fit for some flashy e-commerce website or some coupon comparison site. I am looking (as mentioned in my description) for something more warm and "at home" etc.

arghya - thanks, but this is too modern and too shiny, etc. Pizza also doesn't fit the "high-end" type of "gourmet" food that I mentioned. But thanks for the submission.

Thank you for the feedback. Here's another version:

I also made the following. I tried to focus a little more on the friendly aspect that comes to mind when I think about kitchens. Wasn't sure whether I should post it because it doesn't fall under elegant as much as the other designs. :)

Nora - thanks for the change. I do like the font better and also the icon image. The smiley cook is friendly, but you are right that it would not fit the gourmet food theme :) But for the one with the hot soup. I am thinking that the bowl is too separate - so I would like to maybe ask if you could combine the "steam" (the lines above the bowl) somehow with the words of the logo... (and it would be great to see another font option just to compare but this one is rather good)

PHPGator - thanks for the submission. I like that the font has that "elegant" feel to it, but I also think that it is too "soft/weak" of a presence - letters too thin - and I also think that the wine is not a great match (although looks elegant) because I will not be selling wine...just more dry foods

Like this? Or is it a little too minimal?

Dante777 - yours has a nice feel to it - the colors are OK too - but I think there are too many different elements with the different 2 fonts etc - and I don't think that serving plate icon fits for me (although it is good for food category). I would even think something like a noodle or something that represents high-end dry food. But thanks for submission.

Nora - indeed a bit too minimalist - I actually liked the font and different color shades from before - it was just the bowl that I was hoping to eliminate - so maybe try with the same colors, etc as before - and if possible, maybe either push the "steam" between the words or if above, then a bit shorter. Thanks.

suke - thanks for the submissions, but these don't have the right feel to them that I am looking for. Pasta is not a bad one, but too simple overall. Thanks

PHPgator - thanks again, but these don't work for me either. Also just too simple with text and icon next to it. I would rather have something that 'represents' food than shows the food. But appreciate the submissions.

Drama9URL - thanks for joining - I actually really like yours! The colors are nice and warm - and it looks original and brandable. I am just a bit unsure of what is that at the top - is it a cooks/chef's hat, or is it a muffin/cupcake? Maybe you can just adjust that a bit. Also - I would like to see how it would look with having the "limited" be smaller and the "gourmet" bigger - so the reverse in proportions. Also, I would prefer to have the "g" in gourmet to be a capital large "G" - thanks.
