Similar colors obviously. But unless you have some sort of visual incompetence, then you'll know the two are different.

Well I thought MikeRoweSoft and Microsoft were different too... but MS thought differently.

Just trying to save you from any future problems.

titanicons.com, thanks for the entry but I think that it will be hard to print on to t-shirts, and whatnot. the icon you made is creative, but a little plain. Maybe it would look good in a different design with less gradients (better for printing). Thanks!

    Keep the entries coming folks!

As long as you have an underlay and 310 mesh screens for the final white layer gradients shouldn't be a problem to do. It depends on the print shop, the one I worked at had a multicolor auto press that could do eight colors along with the underlay for darker shirts. The design at present could use seven screens (six on a white/light shirt). In order to make it cheaply printable it means an abandonment of one color, or the gradients overall. It depends mostly on budget though. If you're looking to print just a few shirts, then you'd probbably be looking to use a manual press that has an average maximum of 6-8 colors (however these are usually just for samples and very light jobs) if you're looking to mass produce shirts it will likely use an automatic press that can have between 8 and 18 (and sometimes more) colors available to use. If you could tell me what kind of resources you're working with I will make a color-seperated press-friendly version in Illustrator as a tryout.

Hey, sorry for the late response.

coolwanz.. Not bad at all! Looks really good. Could you perhaps try changing the font to something less italic?

Could you also show me how it'd look with the blue background? #6486AE

    Thanks!!
