I've just created a new site: http://givemytime.co.uk/ I need a header graphic that will replace the currently blank header (770 pixels x 190 pixels). Here are the criteria: Graphic must be colourful and fun, perhaps a cartoon or Web 2.0 look. I want it to be visually appealing The graphic must span the whole dimensions specified above The graphic can feature anything relating to gifts/presents and time (clocks, etc). Even potentially certificates if you think that will fit. Colour scheme: anything that fits the current choice of colours for the template Text: Any sensible variation of spacing and case using "GiveMyTime.co.uk" No tagline Contest Rules: Payment via Paypal. Sorry, no other method! Contest ends 5pm GMT (UK Time) on Tues 25th Nov As submissions are made, I will make it clear what I like or don't like so you have the opportunity to make adjustments. Thank you Dan
I'll be entering later so don't give up hope yet. Also, you said "anything that fits the current choice of colours for the template". The current colors are blue white and grey. Not all that 'fun' as you put it. Should I use any colors, blue & white & grey, or do you want to specify different colors?
My entry Click the preview below to see full size... If you want any changes made, feel free to ask! Image used is royalty free - no worries with copyright. Cheers, Jack
Thanks for the reply and sorry for the confusion. Use any colours you want. All I meant is that some colours clash, but as long as it looks good, use any colours you want. Dan
Hi Jack, thanks for the entry. I didn't want a tag line on the graphic, and I'm after something that's particularly colourful. The logo doesn't seem to make any reference to a clock or gift apart from the background clock face image. That's a great start. The GiveMyTime.co.uk text needs to be a lot bigger. The box is a nice idea, perhaps with a clock inside it or similar? Could you also match the dimensions I specify above too? Thanks Dan
These designs are fantastic, exactly the sort of thing I was after. You've done such a good job, I'm going to have trouble deciding a winner. The only feedback I have for these is "fantastic work!". Dan
From your site layout it seems crowquill's logo fit the site. Anyway, I personally like xaralee. Very good concept.
I think that all of the entries are great. I'm judging the results now, thank you for your hard work. I'll contact the winner via PM and announce the winner in about 12-24 hours. Thanks Dan
I spent a lot of time deciding the winner because the quality of the entries were surprisingly high. Thank you to everyone. Rep left for all entrants who posted their designs. The winner is
