Design: Simple clock design that looks “Very Professional”

There may also be more than one winner – if I see lots of great designs that will suit – I will award the 1st prize up to 5 times. (So 5 different people could win $30)

Take a look at the google images page for inspiration: Type in Pictures of clocks.

The clock will need to be simple – yet very professional looking, as it will be placed on sites from social to business and politics.
It will become a widget – so please include oilprice.com somewhere on the design – if you put a square around the clock which is probably best – it can go under the clock or possibly have a little part under the square. – What I mean buy this is to have something similar to the Get Widget sign at the bottom of this clock: http://www.widgetbox.com/widget/magic-tree-clock
But it must be MUCH more subtle.

But the clock bust be small, neat and the OilPrice.com text can’t be too large.

Hi Watari - that's a nice design - but the OilPrice is too large - also could you please put it in a square.
Also it should be OilPrice.com - but i really like how you have done the day and date - very nice

Thanks for the entries - here is some feedback.

Watari - very neat designs. I like the design on the left - but could you take the oilprice emblem out and just leave OilPrice.com. Also the one on the right could work - but could you make Oilprice.com MUCH smaller and take the emblem out. Also make it a bit more like the one on the left as well which is a nice design.

Brainsurgeon - This is very neat - i like the colours you have used - OilPrice.com is also nice and subtle which is what i am after. It's just a bit difficult to see what time it actually is though - can you make it more obvious?

Hi Guys - i just wanted to let you know i am extending this competition to Saturday – so there is another 48 hours to go.
Here is some feedback:

Brainsurgeon – It’s neat – but still quite tricky to tell the time – can you do anything else to make it more obvious – could you also take away the blue box and make it a bit smaller.

Watari – i prefer the bottom left design here – The colouring at the top of the clock itself is very faint – could you please make it like the rest of the clock so we can see the different hours. Is it possible to give it a nice shiny look?

Brain Surgeon - it's great - but it's very difficult to discern between the hour and minute hands. Coulour wise it's great - but it just needs to be more obvious

Brainsurgeon - it still looks the same. It will deen to have a big change in the centre to enable people to tell the time - or maybe you could add something classically digital. It's a shame as it looks good - but you can't tell the time ion it.

Bucko - thanks for the entry - but it's not the sort of thing i'm after - basically something classic and beautiful.

Brainsurgeon - i really like your no.2 design - could you make it a bit smaller though - could you put a few different "smaller" sizes down please

Reducing the size more would cause the Day & Date to hardly show or I would have to increase the size of that a bit..
