Contest $30 Logo Competetion For A Facebook Marketing Site - PayPal - 72 hours only!

Hello everyone,

I'm working on my new website, FanWizard.net. We want a creative logo preferably making use of our name "wizard". The logo would be inserted top left (see website fanwizard.net) replacing the "inspire" logo. Here's the criteria:

- We prefer it to look nice on as many backgrounds as possible and not to stick to a certain color, but if not possible, stick to the theme / background of our website.
- Needs to be clean, modern looking and not jam-packed with elements.

I don't really have many specific requirements. Last thing is to have the word "FanWizard" of course and preferably the slogan "Let us do our magic!" under it. But again if you have a good idea in mind that the "slogan" would spoil it, then you can just include the text FanWizard.

About the Business: This website specializes in promoting facebook fan pages and bringing them new fans.

Winner will be paid $30 via PayPal immediately after being chosen and we will probably be using him or her for the rest of the needed graphics work on the website.

Please do not use any stock photos as most of them are not allowed to be used in Logos.

*Edit*: A friend suggested an old man (the wizard) standing on the left of the text, pointing with his magic wand / stick and smiling. I find it to be very cool if simplicity is maintained and if character could be put there without complication to the overall look. Of course that's just an idea for everyone if you'd like to give it a shot.

Hey there!

Thanks for the entry. It looks cool, but a little bit "dull". I'm not that of an artist so cannot give specific suggestions about how it can be made better but basically it looks a bit dull, "washed out". Our background color / theme color on the website is relatively flexible, we can change it with one click if we found that the logo is worth it so do not restrict your imagination by the color.

That one is very good too. A friend suggested an old man (the wizard) standing on the left, pointing with his magic wand / stick and smiling. i really don't get it this thing with the private messages, the contest is being posted in the forums. are all the other designers stupid or something that they post their entries on the thread and not sending it by pm?
How do i know if someone doesn't steal my idea and send it by pm? or if they steal an idea from somewhere?what are they so afraid so they're not posting their entries in public??

You are correct. The PM hasn't stolen any idea from these already here. It worked on the idea I had posted about the "old man smiling and waving with his wand", however, it does have some problems.
