$30 Logo and Header contest

I need a new web 2.0 logo and a header created

Name = GridMount
business = (another) webhost

Logo, I like reflections and creativity but should not be too large upto 468x60, would prefer to stay around 234x60

I need a big header for the main page should be 800 x 380 (approx height)

can be any colour.

images can drop below colour onto white or trans (does that make sense?).

if you use a textured background I need to be able to repeat across full page (again, does that make sense?).

No images of big servers or small servers, NO servers.
No smiling happy people looking thrilled to be buying webspace.

I hope to end this asap in the next couple of days.

I did a 234x60 logo, I was a bit confused by the information listed after that. but here is the logo I came up with.

 

Sorry about the confusing description, I need a "splash" or a large header, think media temple or these free css template examples

BlackScorpio -> looks good. I would prefer font for logo and splash the same (Veranda? maybe). I am usually not a fan of green but that works!

fluffytoz -> its okay, a lttle meh! it doesn't say buy my servers

thelebeau -> great, simple but effective... the "grid" may be to "thin", I may be wrong. for that you may want to see what it looks like with "grid" in lower case

thetop1 -> i really like it, the colours though just dont do it for me. for me something like that has to be basic black/grey/white or black/blue/white IMO.

 

Here is an update. What do you think? Any changes you'd like to see?

thelebeau - forget what I said first one is better
Loko - its good (really good) I think I would have a hasr tim continuing the black wave across a page.
Joko - Good, I don't like the oval background.
anidesign - I like the colours and background of the first one but the logo and font of the second.
katesrobyn - I like the text but not the logo box.
